Titan Triggerfish (Balistoides viridescens), are magnificent animals. With a length of up to 75 cm, they are the largest of the trigger fish family in the Indo Pacific. Females vigorously defend their nest and territory against intruders during mating season, including pesky videographers. If you ever see a one with an erect first dorsal fin (the ‘trigger’), it’s time to leave its cone shaped territory. Fast.
